What is fixed wireless internet?
Fixed wireless internet is a type of broadband that delivers your connection through the air (radio signal) rather than through underground cables like fibre or copper.
It’s not the NBN – it completely bypasses the NBN network, so no NBN port or NBN connection is required. Instead, a small antenna is installed at your property and points to a nearby fixed wireless tower, which links back into our network and out to the internet.
We also offer speeds that can be faster than many NBN services, often at lower prices, especially in areas where the NBN is limited.
In simple terms: it’s internet via a dedicated outdoor antenna, not an NBN line, phone line, or satellite.
